Amazon’s annual deals event begins at 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on Monday.
It is the third edition of Prime Day, and the event has already achieved massive sales in previous years.
This year, the company has promised that it will be bigger than ever, with discounts on hundreds of thousands of articles for Amazon Prime users around the world.
Here’s what you need to know about Amazon discount day:
30 hours to buy
Prime Day will be in force for more than 24 hours.
It begins at 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on July 10, and will run until 3:00 am on July 12.
Customers who are not yet members of Prime can register before July 11 to take advantage of this year’s offerings. Membership costs about $ 100 per year.
Track bids in advance
Amazon advises buyers to use the Amazon application, where the offers will be posted 24 hours earlier. The application allows you to install alerts.
Exclusive and advance offers with Alexa
Customers who buy from a gadget equipped with Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant, will have access to Prime Day offers two hours before anyone else.
In addition to the US, buyers in 12 other countries, including the UK, Mexico and China, can participate this year in Prime Day.
Offers will be different in each country, but Amazon said there will be a new Amazon Global Store through which Prime users in China and Mexico will be able to access select offers in other countries.
“Amazing” Deals on TVs
Amazon said there will be some “astounding” offers on a “variety” of television brands, including the Amazon Fire TV edition of the Element 4K TV from ultralta definition.
Prime Now Sales
There will also be offers on Amazon’s Prime Now platform, which offers same-day delivery in some cities. Buyers of Prime Now receive the same day a selection of different items, including perishable foods.
Some Prime Now offerings started Friday, and Amazon says it has a 25% discount on Haagen-Dazs and Halo Top ice cream, 30% on some beauty products and 30% on wine and beer in a limited number Of cities.
